Moksha

Moksha is made up of Moha and Kshaya, to get free from attachment to the ephemeral world, Maya.

Refers to liberation from the cycle of birth and death, Samsara, goal of all Asian mystery schools and spiritual practices.

In the myths this liberation is mostly called Moksha, further terms, depending on the school, are mukti, kaivalya, turiya, samadhi.

To attain liberation is a long spiritual path – in the myths, a person does something, receives the grace of a God and is brought to the abode of this God. That’s the mythological moksha.
