King Kuru is the founder of the Kuru Dynastie. Kurukshetra, the field of the Kurus, was the site where the Mahabharata war took place. It was a war between Cousins, the Kauravas (Dhritarashtra’s sons) and the Pandavas (Pandu’s sons).
