A famous Krishna temple in Kerala.

After Dwaraka was swallowed by the ocean, a statue of Krishna was entrusted to Guru, the preceptor of the Gods (Brihaspati), and Vayu, the lord of the element air.

After a long search for a suitable place for the statue, they decided on a place that is now called Guruvayur. It is the city of Guru and Vayu, the city of the preceptor and the air.
