Married with Barhishmati. He divided the world into seven Islands, reignet by seven of his sons – Agnidhra, Idhmajihva, Yajnabahu, Hiranyaretal, Ghritaprishtha, Medhatithi, Vitihotra.
The other three, Kavi, Mahavira, Savana, withdrew to the woods.
His brother was Uttanapada.
