In the Ramayana the four sons of Dasharatha marry as follows
Rama – Sita, Lakshmana – Urmila, daughters of king Janaka.
Bharata – Mandavi, Shatrugna – Shrutakirti, daughters of king Janakas brother, king Kushadhvaja.
To win Sita the task was to break Shiva’s bow. No applicant was able to, they couldn’t even lift it. Rama took the bow and broke it.
